Table Project - Part II

Here comes the second part of our Table Project, and I must say it felt more like a Runkeeper session ...

The uncharted fields I started to prepare last week, but got overruled by the heavy snow fall this week ...

The digging .... yeah a truly DIY.

The export of the furniture ... (see Table Project - Part III)

The Table Project - Part I

It has been a while, since we made a post at the XHM side of the family, but the Table Project is for sure one of the new XHM projects we are ramping up here at House V.

So, we have been looking at various tables for a very long time, and today we executed the first part of the delivery of the Table Project Plan now that we have moved in the deploy phase, after successfully have planned, build and tested the Table Project Plan.

Here we have the classical "before" scene, where we have our good old IKEA table and 6 classic chairs that have served us for the last 12 years and for sure shows the landmarks of two boys testing their knives and other cutlery when growing up.

DIY: Shoji - Part I

OK, today we are gonna give our hall closet a finishing touch with Lundbergs Shoji

We did the shopping and it ain't cheap, lets hope the result looks stunning.

Stay tuned for the result :-)

DIY: The Walking Closet Lights

One of our great WAF factors is for sure the Walking Closet and the way the lights are handled there.
You open the door, et voila ... the magic happens.

Offcourse this is not something revolutionary new to have lights going on when you walk in, and you can easily walk into any DIY shop and buy a motion detector aka PIR and have it hooked up to the lights, but if you want to take something that is scalable and reusable for the futher, and can be easily extended and controlled from a central place in the future, then do read on.
