DIY: Shoji - II

Okie, so we unloaded the packages we bought at Coop (amazing what one buys at your local super market) and got started.

And I must admit I do like it.
Felt a little like "Ikea for advanced ..." or "Mecano versus Lego ..." but overall with the basic tools we achieved more, in less time as with simular DIY solutions that needs to be made for you ...

And some action shots of the progress ...

The hallway before the installation.
The curtain is hiding the clothes.

Work in Progress ...

A Touch of Elk

No tribal art, just our night light in the hall ...

Guess what ?!?

DIY: Shoji - Part I

OK, today we are gonna give our hall closet a finishing touch with Lundbergs Shoji

We did the shopping and it ain't cheap, lets hope the result looks stunning.

Stay tuned for the result :-)

The Hallway ...

The blue dressoir is waiting to be painted white.
The floor is waiting to get "luted" aka "white washed".
The curtains are waiting to be replaced with a sliding door.
The walls are waiting for a final layer of white.

But overall we are moving towards a house feeling.

A little X10 Project ...

... or the inside wiring of our motion controlled "garderobe" :-)

Stylish ?!?

Maybe not really the correct style anymore :-P

Connected !

Yes, this is not some optical illusion, we are now connected and our front door has officially moved :-)

The last two, three weeks have indeed been a gigantic leap forward, and just today we spent all day with cleaning outside and allthough we should have taken some picz (wonderfull autumn feeling today) we actually concentrated on cleaning, cleaning, cleaning .... and so hopefully we have the same nice weather tomorrow and we get you some great picz !!!
