Strömma Shopping ...

After two days of pooring water and stormy weather and with even more bad weather ahead the coming days, we decided to go for a short trip, including all things wonderfull in life. Good company, good food, wonderfull scenery on the way and yes ... even outlet shopping.

Strömma Kanal, Strömma Krogen and Strömma Outlet ... it almost sounds like ... fun :-)

First of all Strömma Canal (which is missing on googlemaps btw) is a very nice and charming little canal and nothing is more relaxing as seeing a sailing boat making a run for it (please note the red light of the closing bridge) when you are safe and sound on the land (no masts were hurt in this shot).
It is also an ideal stop in our classic canal tour (I will add that one also to the To Do List) and offers a tank station with refreshements, but even very good coffee at the coffee kiosk just at the end of the bridge.

After the entertainment it was time for some food at Strömma Krog and the Hamnburger was really very good (I would give the Burger a 8 on our Burger Scale).

Good meat, good bread, and nice fries with Mayo (which is quite a special thing).

Only downside here was the missing kid section on the menu.

We shared one burger for the two of them, but a little bit more attention to kidz on the menu would have been great.

Once we finished the burgers and the drinks, we moved ahead to the last part of the excursion here at Strömma, by visiting Strömma Outlet just next doors.

A nice little Outlet in American Style with lots of Gripholmen stuff and American East Coast Design ... I will leave it to Wivi to comment on the overall review, but I can tell you we did not leave empty handed.

Anyway, looking for some good food and some easy shopping on your day tours to convince the other half it is worth to take the boat out, just include Strömma Canal as a stopover.

And did I mention you can reach this one even by car ?

So in a summary:

Strömma Krog
Strömma Outlet
